The DeLonghi DD50P 50 Pt. Dehumidifier with Patented Pump gives you power to determine your ideal humidity level in any room in your house. Just like how a thermostat keeps the temperature in a room at a constant level, a humidistat keeps the humidity level constant. It gives you several options on how to remove the water once it is eliminated from the air in the room. Delonghi engineered a patented pump system that eliminates the need to remove and empty the water bucket when it gets full. The pump system uses a 16’ hose to continuously remove the water as it is being removed from the air in the room. If you don’t have anywhere to hook the discharge hose to a drain you can still use water tank and manually empty it when it is full.

The DDP50P dehumidifier does not simply just remove the excess moisture from the air in the room it uses a humidistat to let you set the amount of humidity you want to be in the room and much like a thermostat maintains the temperature in a room, it maintains the humidity constant.

To make it easy to move from room to room Delonghi designed the DDP50P to be very balanced and it has four easy rolling casters and external handles. It has all electronic controls and a LCD control panel to make it easy to operate.

From these reviews it received an average rating of 4.3 stars out of a possible 5.0 stars. Along with the ratings it received plenty of both positive and some negative comments. One reviewer really put it to the test after having his basement flood one day and after they drained out the standing water they had dry out the carpets by removing the rest of the moisture and the pump and hose worked perfectly as he needed it to. Another reviewer really liked the fact that it ran relatively quiet and that could run constantly and not be a bother.
